Lodi Local Spotlight: Downtown Lodi Halloween Festival!

October 28, 2009

The Downtown Lodi Business Partnership is hosting a Halloween Festival Saturday October 31, from 12-5 on the main downtown strip. Events for children will be available  including music, a petting zoo, face and pumpkin painting, a costume contest and more. Vendors will be selling their goods and produce, and a food court will be available. Additionally, members of the Downtown Lodi Business Partnership will be open for trick-or-treating and will display an orange sign on their window or door to let you know where you can come and get candy.

We are very excited about this and hope to make it a family tradition. We tried Evangeline’s costume on this afternoon, her carrot one. She HATED it! It was outside and really windy and she had a poopy diaper. I’m hoping she hated it for those reasons and not the actual costume itself because she looked so stinking adorable as our little baby carrot! If nothing else, it will be good for a few pictures and then later on as a sleeping bag for camping!

Yay for the festival and for my poor little carrot:) She’s cute even when she’s mad.

Yay for the carrot too! She looked so great, hope the costume grows on her. (not literally……) She is my darling pumpkin baby.
